This historic
property was
acquired by the
Williams Family in
1915, and was
totally restored to
its former glory
late in 2002 along
with a few tasteful
new additions.
Williams Lodge won
the top award for
"Best Project In
North Queensland"
along with "Best
Restoration of a
Heritage Building"
and "Best Landscape"
in the North
Queensland Master
Builders awards.
This was followed by
the "Best
Restoration of a
Heritage Building -
Queensland" award at
the Queensland
Master Builders
Awards.
