The annual Barunga Festival is held in this remote Aboriginal community over the Queen's Birthday long weekend and is one of the major and longest-running
indigenous community festivals in the Northern Territory. The festival showcases contemporary indigenous musicians from the local region in a concert on the Saturday night and a full concert on the Sunday with some of the Territory's top indigenous bands. There's also a sports program that runs throughout the weekend and attracts participants from remote communities throughout the Territory

There's the Disney Fun Zone for kids, Stunt Demonstrations and wall to wall racing.
